Believe and you will be overwhelmed

"When you hearken to the voice of the Lord, your God, all these blessings will come upon you and over whelm you.” –Deuteronomy 28:2

God is Love, He wishes for you to receive His love.  If you open, if you believe, if you say yes, then you will gain an infinite lover and be overwhelmed by His blessings! Receive your Lord, do not shrink from this love! Be not afraid! Know that you have infinite value, given you by your God, and He wishes to shower you with infinite love.

It is your choice

"When God, in the beginning, created man, He made him subject to his own free choice.  If you choose you can keep the commandments; it is loyalty to do His will.  There are set before you fire and water; to whichever you choose, stretch forth your hand.  Before man are life and death, whichever he chooses shall be given him.” –Sirach 15:14-17

It is your choice whether you drink of the waters of eternal life, or burn in the eternal fires of hell.  God has created you because He desires for you to be caught up in His eternal exchange of love and to experience His Goodness and Joy, but love to be love is always freely given and received.  You can choose not to. 

Fear not

"I am the Lord, your God, who grasp your right hand; It is I who say to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.’ Fear not O worm Jacob, O maggot Israel; I will help you, says the Lord…I the God of Israel will not forsake them.” –Isaiah 41:13-20

Hear the voice of God: Fear not.  You need not fear, for truly you are weak and you are nothing.  But the Lord your God will never forsake you!

Entertain me

The problem with computer games, video games, TV and movies, is that it teaches you to be passive.  It trains you think “entertain me.”  That equals a lustful sexuality. 

Only through engaging in activities which require you to be actively giving and playing your part, that require creativity and your human spirit will train you to love purely. 

Importance of co-ed discussion

It is so important for there to be co-ed discussion of purity and modesty.  There must be a deep respect and understanding between the sexes in this area, or both attempts will be lost causes.  And what great motivation we can have for each other! For men to have to discuss and admit their struggles both increases their motivation to fight for purity, and motivates the women to help them, especially by attending to modesty.  For women to have to discuss and admit and examen their struggles would increase the motivation on both sides to aid and protect each other rather than use each other.

How important for men to know the biology of the woman’s body, which tells so much of her soul! How important for women to know the biology of the man’s body, which tells so much of his soul!

Both the father and mother will need to help their sons and daughters in their struggles.  One should never feel like they have no place talking to their child of the opposite sex, or these problems will never be solved.  The devil loves to keep things secret and untouchable, because then he is free to do as he likes!

Manners

Manners are not inconvenient social customs for the high brow.  Manners are reflective of the fact that we are not animals and uphold our dignity as human persons with innate, immeasurable worth. Manners respect the dignity of the other persons around us, conscious of our actions’ effects on others. Manners allow us to practice self-restraint, and are a training ground for the self-sacrificial love necessary for purity and true love.

The perfect quirks

Each soul has its quirks; these do not mature into beauty until the man is received by the right woman, and the woman is pursued by the right man.  Then, it is the unconditional love which brings these unique characteristics to blossom into the truly unique crowning jewels of the soul.  Indeed, these quirks are a gift from God that you will not marry the wrong person!
