Listen to the snap of the Eucharist as the priest breaks the bread of Jesus...Hear the crack of the whip in the scourging.
Hear the hammer clink as it drives the nail into His wrist.
Remember that He did not come to Lord it over us but to die for us. He allowed our anger and sin to mock Him, scourge Him, and nail Him to a tree, taking all that anger into the black hole of Love, never to be seen again.
Lamb of God, You take away the sins of the World, have mercy on us and grant us peace.
